The Artist Semajay- I recall the time I wrote my first song like it was yesterday. I was in 6th grade attending Leif Ericson Grammar School located on the Westside of Chicago. As time progressed and I got older and more mature, I began to look at music through different lenses. By this time I was in high school and life was becoming all too real and used my music as an outlet express myself, as well as, reach out to others. It was in my high school formative years that people began to notice me and take my musical talent more seriously. I performed at school and at any/every event possible, until I made a name for myself. As I continue to progress musically, I hope to make an impact in the music industry. Music has always been my very first and only love; you can do anything with music
